"We design every visual and sensory experience in virtual worlds
— and shape the standards behind them."

What We Did 2

Global Game Hub Center Residency

In 2024, by pitching the development direction of AnotherStar, we were selected as a resident company of the Global Game Hub Center, operated by the KOCCA(Korea Creative Content Agency) under the MCST(Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
Through this program, we have been actively engaging with various development teams while continuously receiving professional training and mentoring essential for development and operations.

AnotherStar Inc., evaluated as an Excellent Company in the “Preliminary Startup Package” by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (South Korea).

Rather than competing only within the gaming field, we competed with aspiring entrepreneurs from all industries through this government startup program. In 2022, we were selected for the Preliminary Startup Package of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, which led to the establishment of AnotherStar Inc.
Over the following six months, we developed our prototype, built our team, and were evaluated as one of the outstanding performers in the program.

New Senses, New Interfaces

In VR, new senses such as binocular vision come into play, and the mouse and cursor from the PC era can no longer be used. As an alternative, laser pointer systems were introduced, but they often feel slow, rely heavily on UI, and break immersion.
That’s why AnotherStar designed the Finger Pointer interface. With two hands, players can move the sky, turn back time, and draw constellations—an interaction that goes beyond gameplay to present a new standard for future media UX. This technology is patented and represents AnotherStar’s vision of sense-driven UX design.

What We Do 2

AnotherStar discovers how people’s experiences change when new senses—such as binocular vision, vestibular sense, and proprioception—come to the forefront in future media environments. Based on these insights, we design new user experiences and content.

Currently, we are experimenting with this direction through the VR adventure game AnotherStar, while also expanding into functions and assets that developers and creators can directly use.
